Indie netlabel Ground Floor Records was founded between summer / fall in 2005 by Tomáš Danhel (aka Basementality) and Heretic. Label concerns about alternative music, mainly hip-hop and his abstract / experimental branches. Another styles in repertoire are trip-hop, downtempo, electronica, nu-jazz and alternative.

Label has solid views and plans as regards music, even for its short existence. Goal is to release such titles that don´t have wide audience - titles, that won´t be consuming you daily through mainstream radios, television and other commerce-emitters...
As for future, GFR will be regulary releasing records of current artists, recruiting new original musicians and performing live shows.
